Get these teeth out quick!! (Trying to get Lotta to "smile" turns out looking like this every time now. Feel pretty bad for her- it looks like a full set of teeth just waiting to come in.)
So the past little bit while we've been in limbo at the Carlson's has been great. Not only do we have a fun little guest suite to live in, a chef, a maid, and a babysitter, but also two really fun grandparents, an aunt and an uncle :) We've probably already out-stayed our welcome but we are so glad to spend time together before we are gone for a while.
Jayson got a new truck last month. It's diesel, a Ford and has a whole new engine and was pretty much given to us for half of what it is worth. So blessed. We had been praying about what to do because Jayson needs to be able to drag his wood around for school and we/I didn't feel like the GMC would last in the snow or even for the drive up. This new truck basically fell into our laps. We are extremely grateful.
A couple weeks ago, Kim started her certification to teach HypnoBirthing. I just need to send in some test/reviews and then I should be certified. I'm also very grateful for this opportunity. Can't wait to share what I've learned with others. I'm very excited to teach!
On Thursday, we are going to The CABIN! Gonna be so much fun! Lucy's family owns a cabin in California, north of Yosemite. It is so gorgious and secluded up there, right on the front of a lake. Love being with everyone there. It is such a fun tradition that I've landed into. Last year was my first time and this will be Lotta's first time this year! We will probably take too many pictures. We'll be missing Janice and Colin and Lisa and Jon this year. (Last year we fit 15 people into the little cabin. I slept outside with the bears- so fun!) I am just waaaay to excited. How many diapers should I pack for ten days??
