We Got Snowed.
Classes were cancelled and instead of staying in we drove around and braved the roads which were not too bad, despite the terrible native drivers here. Sure it was hard getting to our car...
But really it was worth it. Right now, taking naps and staring out at the big fir trees heavy with snow. Its gorgious to watch it come down in big fluffy flakes... I have to say that I'm in love.

A week ago we had some family come in to town :)
This is Grandpa and Grandma Carlson holding Lotta at the Kirkland Museum. (This is one of two pictures that I got with the them the whole weekend! Darn! They better post some on their blog. hint hint.) We had so much fun though. We showed them our favorite places and stayed up watching a movie on Saturday night and went to church the next day. They were lucky that it warmed up to the 60s when they came.
Lotta has been pretty attached to me and doesn't go to strangers or even Jayson for very long so I was surprised when at breakfast the first day that the Carlsons were here she sat on Grandpa's lap for like an hour!! Steven come up and babysit anytime you want! (Bytheway, can you see the family resemblance?)
After Grandma and Grandpa left, Jayson's sister Lisa and her husband Jon stayed for a day on their way home from Michigan. Again, the only picture that I have! I hope Lisa will update her blog still now that she is home. Lisa is due in December, isn't she gorgious?!
Well we miss everyone so much! Thank you for visiting and hope you enjoyed your stay!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!
Monday was my birthday and it was great.... Just wanted to share one of the gifts I received from my wonderful friend Kirsten. I've been enjoying it for about a month now. It is so wonderful and reminds me of my favorite fall colors and matches our living room. I sleep with it between me and the comforter and fight over it with Jayson when we are on the couch. And the best part though (hopefully this isn't too weird for you all) is that it smells like Kirsten's things. It just makes me happy. Thanks so much Kirsty! I know this post is long overdue!!
